Carolina Pickleball Association is thrilled to offer a Summer mixed doubles season of PlayTeamPickleball in Raleigh! This league features fun, fair, competitive team play for 3.0-4.0+ levels. Get your friends together and form a team, donβt miss out on the fun!!
Team rosters are 6 minimum, 14 maximum. This is a true mixed doubles league, you must have 1 man and 1 woman in each pairing for your matches. Accordingly, there is a minimum of three (3) of each gender required on your team roster.
Players with a established pickleball (DUPR) rating must play in the appropriate division. Players without an established rating should evaluate their level in accordance with USAPA Player Skill Rating Definitions and register accordingly. Guidelines are also provided on playteampickleball.com.
Each team match consists of 9 individual round robin style unranked doubles games, played in 3 rounds. Partners remain the same for all rounds. Each round is 3 games of doubles with rotating opponents (ie: home pair #1 plays 3 games against visiting team pair #1, #2 and #3 for a total of 9 games). Each game is first to 15 by 2, the winner of the team match is the team with the most total games won (out of 9 games played).
All registration will be done through playteampickleball.com. The league fee is $45.
